Police arrested Bridgeport resident Lou Geneis, 34, and charged him with criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a weapon, carrying a pistol without a permit and first-degree rckeless endangerment, Lt. Tom Barcello said. After the gunman across the street ran out of bullets and the 32-year-old man standing next to Geneis crumpled to the ground after being wounded in the leg and groin, police say Geneis glared at the gunman for a second or two before pulling a pistol from his waistband and returned fire.
