Police are investigating the robbery of a Peach Orchard Road gas station early Thursday. According to a Richmond County sheriff’s incident report, a man in a mask went into Circle K, 2822 Peach Orchard Road, about 2:15 a.m. and demanded cash. The clerk told police she gave him $40 from the cash drawer before he left, taking her cell phone with him. The clerk told police she did not see a weapon and the bandit gave no indication that he had one.
