DANBURY— A fallen tree and power lines have temporarily closed a portion of Main Street as authorities clear the area. The tree fell Saturday around 2:30 p.m. on Main Street just north of North Street, bringing power lines down with it, police said. The police department, fire department and Eversource officials were still clearing the scene around 4 p.m. Blockades were set up to redirect traffic near North Street and Tooley Lane, police said.
