An Elgin man was arrested after breaking into the home of his estranged wife earlier this week, police said. Donnie L. Beavers, 58, was arrested on Wednesday, authorities said. Elgin police responded to a domestic violence report around 9 p.m. Tuesday on the 2000 block of Niagra Court, according a news release from the Elgin Police Department.
