We've all seen this scenario: Driving along an interstate highway construction zone there's a police cruiser nearby. The officer may be watching for speeders as well as keeping an overall eye on things.But some of those patrol cars may not actually contain any officers, since highway construction companies have been known to purchase used police cruisers and park them near their work areas to help slow down traffic.
