NEW PALTZ – A Pine Bush man was charged with assaulting a police officer on Sunday.According to the Ulster County Sheriff’s office, Daniel V. Duvoli, 23, of Pine Bush was creating a disturbance in a New Paltz parking lot at 4:45 a.m. Sunday. When Duvoli was confronted by sheriff’s deputies and Town of New Paltz police officers, he refused to leave the area, pushed a deputy and fought with police while being taken into custody, the sheriff’s office said.
