A small number of CenturyLink customers in the Awbrey Butte area of Bend were temporarily without land line phone service due to a cut cable.Heather Koch, spokeswoman with CenturyLink, said a third party accidentally severed the cable near Newport Avenue between Third and Fourth streets on Thursday afternoon.
