Pedestrian Hit By Car In Danbury

DANBURY — A pedestrian was struck by a car Wednesday morning on Clapboard Ridge Road. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Omasta said the victim was taken to Danbury Hospital, but it was not immediately clear how serious the injuries were. The pedestrian’s identity has not yet been released. The accident took place about three blocks north of Danbury High School about 10:45 a.m. Fire and police personnel are investigating.
