If the Triple-A baseball team is successful building a new stadium on one of two Pawtucket locations, to replace the aging McCoy Stadium, the new ballpark would have a capacity of 9,000, Rea said. It would be smaller than the 10,000 people McCoy holds. It's also smaller than minor-league requirements, International League President Randy Mobley told The Providence Journal in an interview.
