Paul McCartney has performed the Beatles 1970 track “The Long and Winding Road” for many years as a solo artist, and at a performance in Columbia, South Carolina on Thursday night, he dedicated the song to the nine people murdered in Charleston’s historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church last week.
