Parks In El Paso And Teller Counties Mark Colorado Public Lands Day

Colorado is paying homage to its 24 million acres of public lands Saturday with the third annual Colorado Public Lands Day.Across the state, public and private organizations are hosting events to celebrate Colorado's forests, rivers, mountains, grasslands and parks, which generate $28 billion in consumer spending and 229,000 jobs.Here's what's happening in the Pikes Peak region:- Spring Birding Photography Workshop, Fountain Creek Nature Center, 7-9 a.m.Join award-winning photographer Mike Pach at the Fountain Creek Nature Center to learn how to best capture spring migrants.
