Palm Springs Voters Ok Marijuana Dispensary Tax

A tax on medical marijuana dispensary owners that could raise up to $1 million for city coffers passed at the polls by a two-to-one margin late Tuesday night, according to unofficial final results. Called 'Measure B,' the tax initiative asked voters if they wanted to levy up to 15 percent - or 15 cents on every $1 - on the proceeds of legal and illegal marijuana collectives.
