At the annual Painesville State of the City address on Jan. 29, the proposed development plan for the former Lake East Hospital site was at the center of much of the discussion. Now known as High Pointe Centre, the project was the subject of about a half dozen inquiries from the audience at the Elks Lodge Painesville 0549 during the new question-and-answer format of the address.
