By Chaning Green Oxford Citizen For the past 24 years, the Oxford Conference for the Book has been bringing in writers and readers from across the country to congregate in Oxford and celebrate the written word. This weekend, the Oxford Conference for the Book returns with a large variety of free and interesting events open to the public. The conference is organized with help from the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi, Square Books, the Lafayette County Literacy Council, and many more local sponsors.
