The Category 2 hurricane is steaming up the Eastern Seaboard, after buffeting Cuba yesterday. The latest models suggest that it could make landfall in New Jersey by Tuesday, said WTNH meteorologist Gil Simmons. In the meanwhile, the local forecast calls for mostly overcast skies over the next few days. Temperatures on Friday may rise into the low-70s in some inland areas, Simmons said, under partly cloudy skies. More clouds Western CT.
