STOCKTON — About 30 members of Bear Creek Community Church converged on Kennedy Elementary School on Saturday to offer help and hope to residents of one of Stockton’s most impoverished and crime-ridden neighborhoods.Outreach 55 and Love in Action, two of the church’s community service groups, provided free food, music, games, haircuts and more to those who live around the school, which is located on Ponce De Leon Avenue near Acapulco Way.
