Print— Oregon State University has fired Craig Robinson, brother-in-law of President Obama, as its basketball coach after six seasons in which the Beavers failed to make the NCAA tournament. Robinson became basketball coach just as “Hope” posters sprouted in the 2008 Obama presidential campaign. He led Oregon State to an 18-win season in 2008-9 season, hope for a team that had lost 21 consecutive PAC-12 basketball games.
