GOSHEN - A Town of Deerpark man was sentenced Thursday to a year in jail for leaving the scene after striking a 12-year-old girl with his car as she tried to cross a road.Dennis Pulido, 29, was driving north on Route 209 about 6:45 a.m. on Dec. 28, 2016, when his car struck the girl as she tried to cross the roadway.The girl was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla with serious injuries.Police interviewed Pulido a couple of days after, and later [...]
