One person died in a head-on crash involving two vehicles Wednesday afternoon in Independencence Township, according to fire officials.Capt. David Bridgewater with Independence Fire said the call about the crash on Sashabaw Road north of Stickney Road came at 2:31 p.m.Bridgewater did not have details about the victim nor on the cause of the crash.
