After finishing the state-required mathematics test last month, one student wrote, “I hate testing so much.” Another wrote: “I thought I was good at math, but I'm really not.” A third student simply scribbled the word “help.” “I feel like we are putting too much emphasis on the test versus what they are doing in the classroom,” said Mackey, who has taught math at Duncan High School for five years.Read more on NewsOK.com
