It wasn't enough, though, as Kansas State used 11 3-pointers to come out with a 72-66 win over the Sooners on Tuesday night at Bramlage Coliseum. Spangler had a season-high 21 points and 14 rebounds, but it was Wildcats forward Thomas Gipson who made the plays late. Gipson, who has struggled against Spangler all night, came up with a series of big rebounds in the final two minutes. Marcus Foster led Kansas State with 18 points, while Shane Southwell added 16.
