Ohio Schools Competing For $400 Million In Federal Race To The Top

Ohio has put in its bid for $400 million in Round 2 of the federal government's Race to the Top competition. If the state is among the dozen or so expected winners, the money will be used on education reforms like turning around low-performing schools and ensuring an effective teaching force.
