Officials: New Limits Won’t Have Much Impact On Youth Soccer

By Michael Kelly Gazette Reporter As part of a resolution to youth concussion litigation involving the United States Soccer Federation as one of the defendants, the organization recommended its youth members bolster concussion education and management procedures and eliminate heading the ball for players ages 10 and younger, while limiting the maneuver only to practice time for players ages 11 to 13.
