Obama Taps Goolsbee As Top White House Economist

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama has chosen Austan Goolsbee to succeed Christina Romer as chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, U.S. administration officials said on Thursday.
