County residents can save up to 50 percent off dental and health check-ups through the county's new Live Healthy Oakland discount program. The new program, done in partnership with the National Association of Counties' Live Healthy Program, builds upon past discount initiatives offered by the county, which included prescription drug and dental discount programs and aims to help residents save on the rising cost of healthcare services.
