NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities are looking for the driver of a minivan that hit a woman crossing a Brooklyn street. The woman later died. Police say the 59-year-old woman was crossing Ninth Avenue mid-block around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The driver was going north on Ninth Avenue and hit her, then continued on and left the scene. Emergency responders took the woman to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
