Albuquerque is one of the top 30 most affordable cities according to data analysis by The Business Journals. The analysis examined regional affordability data from the U. S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) for the 100 largest metro areas in 2019. Albuquerque ranked at 27 overall out of the 100 cities examined. The BEA's regional price parity index totals show how costs compare in a metro compared to the national baseline of 100.
