A North Kingstown man was arrested Wednesday and charged with sending a series of violent and threatening emails to a college professor in Massachusetts and to a professional school at the university where the professor teaches.Matthew Haviland, 30, was charged by complaint with cyberstalking and with transmitting a threat in interstate commerce, according to the office of Andrew E.
