NORMAN — More than 100 employees gathered at City Hall on Tuesday night to hear the grim news: The city needs to cut positions, institute furloughs and freeze salaries to get a balanced budget for the next fiscal year.Maintenance worker Phillip Brooks said he learned Friday his job was among 38 positions to be eliminated July 1."I came tonight to lend support to other employees and maybe help prevent more cuts from being made.Read more on NewsOK.com
