STAMFORD-Within five minutes of responding to call for a woman stabbed in the chest during a robbery in the South End Monday afternoon city police apprehended the suspect trying to flee the scene. Donell “Lucky” Blake, 40, of Stone Ridge Circle, Stamford, was charged with two counts of armed robbery and first-degree assault. “This was an example of excellent police work by officer Soderholm and numerous officers from A Squad which led to the arrest of a violent suspect, with a lengthy criminal history, all within of 5 minutes of the call being given out,” Hohn said in a press release.
