CHICAGO — This was already going to be a difficult road trip for the Colorado Avalanche, with the two teams ahead of them in the Central Division standings looming. Losing to the club at the bottom of the division certainly didn’t help. Colorado created plenty, but Petr Mrazek made 36 saves to help the Chicago Blackhawks upset the Avs, 3-1, Wednesday night at United Center.

It marked the first time Keeler has won the award and 15th time a Denver Post writer was honored by NSMA in the last 17 years. If Buffalo can keep Denver’s disruptive defense at bay, the Broncos are in for a long afternoon.

It’s all love between Von Miller and the Broncos. In preparation to face his former team in the Wild Card round on Sunday, Buffalo’s veteran edge rusher doesn’t want to act like he has hatred toward Denver.
