Nfl, Retired Players Settle Lawsuit Over Image Use

The National Football League announced Monday that it has settled a class-action lawsuit relating to the use of retired players’ images, reports NFL.com. As part of the settlement, the NFL will contribute $42 million over eight years to a newly established Common Good Fund that will be administered by a group of retired players approved by the court. The fund will be used to support organizations providing benefits to retired players, including medical, housing and career transition.Read more on NewsOK.com
