Existing broadband customers are not able to add new VM email addresses since that date. VM said that existing customer email addresses would continue to be supported.

These should have been closed around 90 days after the broadband account was cancelled. I’ve taken a couple of these calls but they seem a bit suspect. They claim to be from Virgin Media Sales and are saying something along the lines of ‘I am due to have my package reviewed’ although it was very hard to understand the caller’s accent.

If you need something like a Telecare device to work in these circumstances the provider should assist you, and my belief is that a GSM alarm unit will be offered with a SIM card already installed. --.
