My boat is a 1973 Morgan O/I 33', 39hp perkins diesel that pushes the boat between 4.5 and 5.5 kts. and have all the saftey gear.
- Sailing From San Francisco to Santa Barbara and the...BTW, for going north from the Channel Islands, it doesn't make much sense to go to Santa Barbara unless you want to. It's maybe four hours north to SB (23 NM). If you went toward Pt Conception with those four hours you could get 2/3 of the way there, or go to Coho (maybe 38 miles) to rest and pick your weather window.
