Main reason I haven't bought any of his books (yet) is because I'm being really tight with my entertainment budget these days. And Jim Butcher got his hands on my "book money" first.
- Take real life things and exaggerate them into drop-in fantasy elements.I mean, it's a good idea. So good it's been independently invented at least twice (by you and Jim Butcher). Actually it would work really well for a modern "secret supernatural" game. Spells getting widely known don't risk revealing magic to the world, because they naturally stop working.
