Bookmark or Share- Heat Reduction in the cab??? | Page 4 | Can-Am Maverick ForumHeat is really a non-issue for me after putting Thermo-tec in the cab. The heat that I do feel is usually at higher speeds coming up from the rear and hitting my neck. I have a half windshield installed with no rear wind screen. Does anyone have any input about adding a rear screen for heat reduction in this case?

If there is a product that can help to reduce some of the additional dust and heat, I am interested, but I was hoping to get feedback from those that have used one of these reversible heaters, as to whether it made a difference.
- Rear Wind Screen vs Soft Rear Window Panel to Reduce Cab Heat?I had an older Commander and had the Super ATV flipup front windshield and the factory can-am rear net. We did not have a major heat or dust problem. I also had the titetops cover over the console. Not to make light of it, but you guys with the newer commanders don't know heat until you have put 100 miles in the old commanders on a 100 degree day.
- CanAm full windshield without rear wind protection?The heat/dust blowing from the rear was bad and when I only used the top of the rear, the lower hole shot in like a blow dryer. With less airflow it does get hot. I put thermo-tec on the rear firewall and back of the seats and made a huge difference.
