Bookmark or Share- accelerator pedal sticking - Buggies Gone WildI have a 1979 Ezgo cart, the accelerator pedal is sticking. This has been going on for a while, but I just pop it up with my foot. I can feel it catch in several places as I press down. Yesterday the pedal stuck and would not release, then I smelt something hot, I lifted the seat and the resistor coil was red hot.
- Pedal start won't turn over. - Buggies Gone WildI have a 2008 carryall 2. When I depress the gas pedal I can only hear the solenoid clicking. The engine would not turn over. Battery tests good and solenoid seems to be functioning properly. When I went to jump out the starter, I accidentally touched the ground to positive on the starter. After that happened the cart started right up.

I was told that it was the MCOR so I replaced it with a new type 4 MCOR and at first it seemed to help because it took off after the first pedal depression but then it became erratic again and now I am back where I started...2 to 3 pedal depressions to make it go.
