Personally, I have used mine (6ft 5in Hybrid NL without pods) in marshes. I painted with Parker Duck Boat paint and covered with a killerweed blanket I made...works awesome --- essentially invisible! I have also used it without the grass in lilly ...
- Outlaw duck boat - Duck Hunting ForumThe company is no longer in business, there were several "accidents" involving those boats. If your going to be in calm water, it might be ok, but they have a reputation of rolling over in rough water. Get a Bankes or a TDB, much safer boats. Do a google search on Outlaw Duck Boats, then make an informed decision.
- Stern light for duck boats... - Duck Hunting ForumI think most types of stern lights, if not all, for duck boats will be broken by you if you don't watch what you're doing. We use it and haven't broke it nor come close to breaking it in over 5 years. - What's better 21' Duckwater, Bankes, or... - Duck Hunting ForumThe Duck Waters 21' Ocean cockpit opening is 193" x 71"; Boat and blind for $21k, cover if I recall is somewhere in the ballpark range of $500. I went through this same decision process in 2010/11. Don't get me wrong, Bankes are great boats, it's just with Duck Waters you get a little more boat for your dollars.
