On Saturday nights it would be a race that was held after 2nd round (before the advent of bye backs) where everyone could put 20 bucks in the pot and run for the money. 80/20 winner take all. This worked really well before the wide spread use of electronics because it was all based on a level playing field.

- Yellow Bullet ForumsStock front, double A-arm (Chevy C-10). Currently have the 200# Landrum drag race springs, 18" long. I need to lose 1"-1.5" of ride height. Would the 180# springs result in too much of a drop? Current springs are compressed to about 8.5". Front end weighs 2,170. Total weight of 3,685. Thanks
- Rear Spring Rate Theory - Yellow Bullet ForumsJudging by the long promod rear coil overs I would guess the first one, but that is a 4 link big tire car, drag radial mustang guys seem to like stiffer springs, from the threads I found. Mustang guys when you go up from a 200# spring to a 250# or 275# replacement style spring, do you get shorter springs?
