Bookmark or Share- Maximum cable length from dish?? - SatelliteGuys.USIn-line amplifiers powered from the coax can indeed be used for longer lines, but remember that amplifying after the signal is too weak does no good -- the amplifier should be within the first 100 feet of cable, where the signal is still solid, then the boost will keep it so over the remaining cable run.
- Is there a difference between dish network co-ax cable vs. some premium ...If it's coming from the outside dish to your receiver, it needs to be replaced (upgraded to the better) with RG-6 coax. If it's going from the receiver, to the back of your tv set and you then tune your tv set to a particular tv channel to watch, then it's fine.
- Dish signal and Cable internet on same line | SatelliteGuys.USI am 99% sure everything from my cable runs on lower than 1000mhz since before I hooked up my dish, and had cable tv and cable internet, it was set up with a 1-1000mhz splitter. I guess I will just give it a go and see what happens.

Directv uses voltage switching either 12 volt or 18 volts depending on polarity needed so Directv requires solid copper center conducter in their cables.

Most likely you will have a DPP twin which uses a DPP seperator (included in 322) thats allows both tuners to use the one cable.Many people opt to use more than 1 cable as for future use. The older LNBF's had to use 2 cables, but no longer.
