- Can I do a 'system restore' to get rid of virus / malware?My computer may have gotten a virus/ bug / malware. If it did, could I use "system restore" to go back to a point before the malware? - "Virus detected" windows notification - Microsoft CommunityI have received a notification, apparently through Windows, that my computer has viruses. See the image below. I immediately ran scans with Adaware and Malwarebytes. Adaware came up with nothing. Malwarebytes found 6 items and quarantined them. I shut down the PC and started it again. After about 10 minutes the message popped up again.
