Depends on how close you want to be to dinghy ride and get on land or if its just a spot for the night.

It is located on the upper Chesapeake Bay, at a narrow place where it is only about 4 miles across east-to-west, Sandy Point (the side nearest Annapolis) to Kent Island, which technically due to the causeway is no longer an island but part of the eastern shore.
