- DCU Loan Payments - myFICO® Forums - 6096649I have a car loan and manually make my payments and I have the choice of Regular Payment or Pay to Principal: I've always just made "regular" monthly payment, although I do round up from the $246.58 minimum payment to an even $250. And I think I remember a member here saying he had paid his DCU car loan 1 year ahead.

It's been almost a year, he hasn't paid anything on it, and they still hold the title. At the time my attorney said if I plan on keeping it then reafirm and continue making the payments like i had been doing all along. I recall him making that point plain and simple. I continued to make the payments and all was well post Disch.
