Bookmark or Share- Percussion Muskets of the East India Company 1840 to 1851I have recently purchased a EIC percussion musket of the type listed as F in the listing I would be grateful if anyone could itentify any of the markings , the lock was marked J.Davis who I have identified as a London lock maker Joseph Davis employed by the EIC from 1840 to 1851 emigrating to Australia in 1852 , there is also what appears as a old written type stamped mark for a H or JC over16 ...
