Bookmark or Share- engine bogs WAY down when turning - Pirate 4x4Hey guys, Got an '87 F150 with EFI I6 4x4 and a manual trans. It's my DD. When I'm idling around a parking lot or something and I turn the wheel, the engine bogs WAY down, sometimes even to the point where the engine dies.
- 4.0 bogs down at medium to full throttle?? sometimescouldnt be the cam, all fuel lines are good, actually put some fuel injector cleaner in when gas was at a quarter tank, ahsnt done it for a couple days, the header is aftermarket, but im gonna have to weld it still. so im hoping the fuel injector cleaner is all it needed, i think ill make that a ritual for a while, along with gas treatment.

- 87' TBI 350 rough idle and surging in gear - Pirate 4x4Howdy, So I recently bought an 87' GMC SIERRA short box with the 350 TBI and When I start it, it surges bad and trys to die, and then begins to idle better but still not right it sounds like a misfire. when I put it in gear it bogs down and will sometimes stall then the idle comes up a little bit and continues to run rough.
