Bookmark or Share- 3.0L (LM2) Emissions Service Issue (1 month old & 1700 miles)I have not had an issue and noticed this knocks down the clatter also. Really notice a difference when towing. With a full tank of top tier you either have no fuel issue or its something else. But when ever you have bad fuel or water it is imporatnt to empty the tank or you are just dilluting the problem usually. The 3.0 is a great motor.

- Best Diesel Fuel | Chevy and GMC Duramax Diesel ForumAll are equivalent to Top Tier. Top tier is a fuel cleanliness and detergent additive standard, nothing more. Diesel in Canada also has higher standards than the US so diesel from just about anywhere is good, there is VERY little varience among the brands. Stay away from small independent places with low turnover.

Its lets customers know they are getting fuel that has the proper cleaning agents in it and that it isnt stale, old leftover fuel. If a station is NOT top tier, doesnt mean it is an inferior fuel, just means they probably shop around and get the cheapest fuel they can and its a gamble.
