This week at the movies, we've got modern love (Valentine's Day, starring Jennifer Garner and Ashton Kutcher); a teenage demigod (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, starring Logan Lerman and Uma Thurman); and some hair-raising horror (The Wolfman, starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins). What do the critics have to say? Looking for a tasty cinematic bon-bon for Valentine's Day? One that explores modern romance and features a staggering array of stars? Well, tough luck.

Director Joe Johnston, whose next film The Wolfman hits theaters on February 12, revealed to Fangoria that Marvel Studios is planning a June start for The First Avenger: Captain America. The start is mentioned in an article on Johnston taking over as director for The Wolfman.

A brand new Wolfman poster has emerged. I don't know from where but this is a pretty cool poster and The Wolfman seems to be pretty upset about something.

It's a big trailer morning with AVATAR making its debut and now THE WOLFMAN trailer is officially online! Despite rumors that the film is having trouble and needed some reshoots, I'm really digging this trailer. It lacks a really clear shot of the beast but you do get some transformation money shots. Some cool artwork showing the progression of Benicio Del Toro into a full on werewolf in the upcoming THE WOLF MAN have been floating around for a couple of days now but we've just managed to get our dirty little mitts on them. The movie is, of course, a remake of the Universal classic in which a man (Del Toro) is cursed with a lycanthropic, well, curse and crazy shit happens involving a delicious Emily Blunt.
