Senh: Why? This Google/Verizon deal sounds like it'll mirror AT&T's tiered pricing plan, which will definitely anger customers. I'm glad I'm still on T-Mobile and hoping that they will not join them in the tiered pricing plan.
Senh: Even people who has used Google Wave can't describe what is or what it does.
Senh: This would explain some of viruses I've been getting every so often by clicking on a link from Google's search results page. But in fairness to Google, they are by far the biggest search engine on the planet, and people do perform more than twice as many searches on Google than Bing, Yahoo, and Twitter combined.
Senh: Can it still be called Yahoo Japan, when it's using Google? That's a strange move, especially since Yahoo! in the U.S. will eventually use Bing as their search engine.
Senh: Sure, Yahoo! might not be growing, but at least it's stable, and it's still one of the top properties on the web. As long as it's turning a profit, and it continues to turn a profit, it's doing ok. Not everyone can be the new hot thing like Facebook. Sure, Facebook is growing in users, but it's revenue is still significantly behind Yahoo's. Will it ever catches up to Yahoo? Not sure, Facebook is already the most visited site in the U.S. How much bigger can it get? It's revenue is still low in proportion to its traffic.
