Every spring, a non Broadway star is brought in with a new production or revival to goose ticket sales. Last year it was Daniel Radcliffe in “How to Succeed in Business.” Last night, it was Ricky Martin, the pop star sensation of 1998, starring as Che Guevara in “Evita.” Ricky is selling tickets, and on stage he makes a fine Che. He’s not quite as passionate as you might like, and his voice is pop, not Broadway. He’s not belting anything out. He’s also a very clean cut idea of Che, lacking a beard or long hair. (He’s sort of the Nickelodeon Che.)
