Hollywood power couple Daniel Craig (a.k.a. James Bond) and Rachel Weisz (most recently in "Oz: The Great and Powerful") are to head to Broadway in the fall, costarring as husband and wife in Harold Pinter's "Betrayal."

The 23rd installment in the James Bond film franchise earned $156 million for the weekend; the movie begins rolling out in North America on Nov. 8. James Bond pic Skyfall continues to make history at the international box office, grossing $287 million in its first 10 days of play.

Producer Michael G. Wilson was so impressed with Daniel Craig's James Bond that he wanted Craig to make five more Bond movies after Skyfall. “Daniel’s been a terrific Bond, a superb actor and a terrific man. The fans love him and I don’t think there’s a better actor to play the part … I’d love Daniel to surpass Roger’s record and do eight pictures,” Wilson told the UK publication People back in December.

Little blue Smurfs and not-so-little green men from space are in a photo finish for the No. 1 spot at the weekend box office. According to studio estimates Sunday, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford’s sci-fi Western “Cowboys & Aliens” and the animated family adventure “The Smurfs” both opened with $36.2 million. Sony Pictures has signed a deal with MGM to co-finance and distribute the 23rd film in the super-spy franchise, due in theaters Nov. 9, 2012.
